Sybill’s Latest Funding Round Will Accelerate Development of AI Technology to Transform Sales Reps into Super Sellers

Sybill, an innovative player in the B2B sales arena, has successfully raised $11 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round. This substantial investment will be used to scale Sybill’s AI-first assistant, designed to automate and enhance the sales process. The assistant has already helped Sybill grow to $1 million in ARR within just nine months.

Addressing a Critical Need in B2B Sales

B2B sales professionals often face a daunting challenge: managing time-consuming administrative tasks that consume over 65% of their week. Many sales teams have tried to optimise these tasks using generic tools, but they have not fully addressed the problem. Sybill’s AI-driven assistant, however, offers a solution by automating entire tasks autonomously. This advancement enables sales teams to minimise time spent on CRM updates and maximise their focus on closing deals.

Series A Funding and Strategic Leadership

The Series A round was led by Greycroft, with significant contributions from existing investors Neotribe Ventures, Powerhouse Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures. With this latest funding, Sybill has now raised a total of $14.5 million. This financial backing will enable Sybill to enhance its AI capabilities and expand its market presence.

    Revolutionising Sales with AI

The B2B sales landscape has evolved, with traditional sales methods proving inadequate in a world overwhelmed by information. Personalisation is key but requires extensive manual effort, leading to inefficiencies. Sybill’s AI assistant aims to change this. By blending conversational and behavioural AI, Sybill’s technology autonomously manages tasks such as drafting call summaries, updating CRM data, and providing insights into buyer intent. This comprehensive approach equips sales reps with the tools needed to build meaningful relationships and enhance the buying experience.

    CEO Gorish Aggarwal’s Vision

Gorish Aggarwal, Sybill’s CEO and co-founder, commented: “Salespeople should spend more time engaging with customers, not drowning in CRM tasks. AI is set to revolutionise B2B sales, and Sybill is at the forefront of this change. In 2024, AI is not just for tech experts—it’s empowering sales teams to close deals faster and achieve higher success rates.”

    Founding Team and Early Success

Sybill was founded by Aggarwal, Nishit Asnani, Soumyarka Mondal, and Mehak Aggarwal, all experts in AI from prestigious institutions. Their background and research have given Sybill a competitive edge, making its AI assistant more effective than traditional tools. Sybill’s product-led growth has been remarkable, with 15X revenue growth, a tripled headcount, and over 500 customers. Notably, over 60% of new revenue comes from customer referrals, reflecting the tool’s value to users.

    Endorsements and Future Plans

Mark Terbeek, Partner at Greycroft, commended Sybill’s influence, saying: “Sybill’s AI technology is reshaping B2B sales by directly enhancing the capabilities of sales reps. The tool’s efficiency and effectiveness set it apart from other technologies.” Sri Peddu, Partner at Powerhouse Ventures, added: “We are excited to support this talented team and believe Sybill will revolutionise the sales role.”

With the new funding, Sybill plans to further develop its AI assistant, automating more administrative tasks and providing deeper insights into buyer behaviour. The goal is to transform today’s sales reps into tomorrow’s top performers.
