Rhino Rescue, a globally recognised brand in first aid solutions, has reaffirmed its commitment to emergency response by sponsoring comprehensive first aid training at the Annual International Congress of the Association of Emergency and Disaster Medicine of Mexico. This event, held in one of Mexico’s most vibrant cultural centers, provided a platform for Rhino Rescue to showcase its innovative first aid products while empowering emergency professionals across the region.

Tactical Hemorrhage Control Workshops Amplify Skills for Public Safety

As part of AMUDEM, Rhino Rescue facilitated three Tactical Hemorrhage Control Workshops, delivered by TacticalMD, specifically for law enforcement and emergency professionals. Using Rhino Rescue’s tactical product line including the Rhino Pneumothorax Access Kit the workshops highlighted essential skills in hemorrhage control, a crucial area in emergency response. This initiative reflects Rhino Rescue’s dedication to public safety, as well as its strategy to solidify its presence in the Latin American market.

Addressing Critical Needs in Mexico’s Emergency Response

Mexico faces significant public health challenges, with violence and road-related injuries as leading causes of mortality. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), interpersonal violence and traffic injuries contribute to over 40% of Mexico’s deaths, with an average of 15,700 Mexicans losing their lives annually due to traffic-related incidents. Recognising the urgent need for effective first aid in such emergencies, Rhino Rescue is advancing resources that enable faster, more effective on-the-ground response.

Rhino Rescue’s products, showcased at AMUDEM, underscore the importance of immediate medical intervention in emergencies. By equipping first responders with high-quality tools and training, the brand aims to reduce fatalities and improve survival rates in critical situations.

Strengthening Rhino Rescue’s Footprint in Latin America

Rhino Rescue began its strategic entry into Mexico in 2022, with plans to expand its network of dealers by 2025. This participation in AMUDEM has not only enhanced the brand’s visibility in Mexico but also paved the way for expansion across Latin America. AMUDEM, a leading organisation in emergency medical care, provided an ideal venue for Rhino Rescue to engage with medical professionals and strengthen its position in the region.

Participants, including emergency physicians and paramedics from across Latin America, praised the quality of Rhino Rescue’s products, particularly the tourniquets and compressed gauze used during training sessions. “Rhino Rescue’s products are distinguished by their exceptional quality and user experience,” noted Iñaki Perujo from TacticalMD. Their pneumothorax access kits, for instance, are lightweight and easy to carry, which is vital for law enforcement personnel operating in challenging environments.

Expanding First Aid Training Across Mexico

Following the success of the workshops in Guadalajara, Rhino Rescue plans to extend these training sessions to other major cities in Mexico. By enhancing the skills of law enforcement and emergency responders, Rhino Rescue aims to foster greater awareness of the importance of first aid and emergency medical care among communities nationwide.

A Global Perspective: Expanding Into Europe

Beyond Latin America, Europe represents another critical growth market for Rhino Rescue. Recently, the company obtained Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification, reinforcing its dedication to high safety and quality standards required by the EU. With this certification, Rhino Rescue enhances its standing within the competitive MedTech market, setting itself apart as a trusted provider of emergency medical products.

Rhino Rescue is set to participate in Medica 2024, the world’s leading trade fair for the medical sector, from November 11-14. The company will be showcasing its latest innovations at Booth No. G70-5 in Hall No. 10, engaging with customers, industry experts, and thought leaders in emergency care.

    Conclusion

Rhino Rescue’s commitment to public safety and emergency preparedness is evident through its expanding initiatives in Latin America and Europe. By equipping first responders with high-quality, reliable tools and promoting critical first aid skills, Rhino Rescue is making strides toward a safer, more prepared global community.
