Welbee, a multi-award-winning company specialising in stakeholder feedback solutions for schools and trusts, has partnered with Rittman Analytics, a leading boutique consultancy in AI-driven analytics, to develop a pioneering proof of concept (PoC) for the Edu Intelligence™ platform. This collaboration has resulted in an advanced AI-powered assistant designed to revolutionise how schools collect, analyse, and act on data-driven insights.

Leveraging AI to Unlock Meaningful Insights

Educational institutions manage vast amounts of data from various sources, including surveys, assessments, and feedback tools. However, extracting meaningful insights from this data has traditionally been time-consuming and complex. Through this partnership, Welbee and Rittman Analytics have integrated artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to streamline data processing, enabling schools to make informed decisions more efficiently.

Utilising Google BigQuery and Vertex AI, the Edu Intelligence™ platform enhances how schools interact with their data. This AI-driven solution enables trusts and schools to unlock deeper insights, reduce manual workloads, and facilitate faster decision-making to support staff and student wellbeing.

Key Features of the AI-Powered Solution

The integration of AI and analytics brings several new capabilities to Edu Intelligence™, including:

    • AI-Driven Pre-Analysis – Automatically processes survey data upon completion, eliminating manual analysis and delivering immediate insights. This feature accelerates the time-to-action, allowing schools to respond proactively.
    • Text-to-SQL Chatbot – Enables users to interact with their data using natural language queries. The chatbot translates user input into SQL queries, providing real-time insights without requiring advanced technical skills.
    • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Integration – Combines survey data with contextual knowledge from Welbee’s Wellbeing Toolkit, offering actionable recommendations that help schools create meaningful improvements in staff and student wellbeing.

Enhancing Decision-Making in Schools and Trusts

By integrating these innovative features, schools can:

    • Act swiftly on insights – Immediate data processing ensures quick responses to emerging trends.
    • Gain deeper understanding – Schools can combine survey data with other key datasets to create a more holistic view of staff and student wellbeing.
    • Empower educators with user-friendly tools – The AI-driven system simplifies data exploration, making complex analytics accessible to all users.

    A Collaborative Effort Driving Change

Tim Handley, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Welbee, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Working with Rittman Analytics to develop the AI capabilities of our Edu Intelligence platform has been transformative. Their expertise in AI and Google Cloud technology has enabled us to provide our customers with faster, more actionable insights. Rittman’s team has been outstanding, bringing deep knowledge and technical skills to this collaboration.”

Mark Rittman, CEO of Rittman Analytics, highlighted the impact of the AI-powered solution: “Our goal was to create an advanced analytics solution that empowers schools with meaningful data insights. Edu Intelligence not only simplifies data analysis but also provides schools with the ability to make informed decisions with confidence. This partnership reflects our commitment to driving innovation in education through AI and analytics.”

    Redefining School Data Management

The launch of this AI-powered solution marks a significant step forward in how schools and trusts manage their data. By leveraging cutting-edge analytics, the Edu Intelligence™ platform empowers educational institutions to create a data-driven culture, improving outcomes for both staff and students.
