Launch of the Future Coaches Initiative

    A New National Campaign

A new national campaign is set to kick off this month, aimed at inspiring and supporting the next generation of football coaches. The Future Coaches initiative will feature a series of free events across the UK, designed to motivate aspiring coaches and showcase how football can drive positive change beyond the pitch.

David Tanner to Lead the Campaign

    Football Roll:

Renowned broadcaster and football presenter David Tanner will spearhead the campaign. Known for his work with BT Sport and TalkSPORT, Tanner will guide the sessions, emphasising football’s role as a catalyst for community development and personal growth. In addition, he will be joined by leading figures in the football coaching community.

    Event Details and Key Highlights

The Future Coaches initiative includes several key events:

    • Birmingham: July 26 at Ibis Birmingham New Street
    • London: July 28 at OMNOM, Islington
    • Glasgow: August 2 at CitizenM Hotel

Each event, scheduled from 11:30am to 5:00pm, will feature lunch, presentations, and interactive Q&A sessions with industry experts. Attendees will benefit from talks by notable speakers such as Ollie Kanner of Sports Focus Coaching Ltd and Richard Elms of BabyBallers.

    Insights from Industry Leaders

Duncan Ross, Managing Director of ClassForKids, highlighted the broader impact of football. He stated, “Football is much more than just a sport; it builds community, promotes teamwork, and encourages personal development.” Furthermore, Ross emphasised that inspirational coaches are essential for nurturing talent and supporting players’ mental health and future prospects.

David Tanner added, “Football is not only exhilarating but also serves as a powerful force for good. These events offer an excellent platform to inspire and build a supportive community passionate about the game.”

Keaton Moore’s Perspective on Youth Sports

Keaton Moore, founder of Move Your Mind, will speak at all three events. Moore stressed the significance of sports in today’s technology-driven world, explaining, “Sports provide children with a positive environment to express themselves, manage emotions, and develop life skills.” Additionally, he noted that football fosters community cohesion and supports young minds by offering a sense of belonging and a positive focus.

    Conclusion:

Why Attend the Future Coaches Events

In summary, the Future Coaches initiative offers a valuable opportunity for those interested in football coaching. By participating in these free events, attendees will gain insights, practical advice, and the chance to connect with other enthusiasts. This campaign aims to inspire and equip the next generation of coaches with the knowledge and motivation needed to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
