This December, Istanbul plays host to the 35th Plast Eurasia, staged by Tüyap. Machinery for plastics, raw materials and production technologies will be gathered under one roof, while organisers intensify their drive to attract trade visitors from major European markets before the doors open.
İstanbul – The dates of 2-5 December 2026 will see Plast Eurasia welcome the sector to Istanbul’s Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, with Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. organising in cooperation with PAGEV and support coming from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Purchasing professionals, distributors, raw material producers, technology providers and manufacturers will all be drawn to the event, which exists to build trade links right across the plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
Momentum builds behind the European visitor drive
With roughly 3 months still to run before opening day, 90% of the stand space has already been booked. A turnout of 80,000 visitors from Türkiye and abroad is anticipated, and the trade visitor campaign centres on Germany, Belgium and Greece, plus Romania, France, Italy and Poland, as well as markets across the Middle East and North Africa.
For industry professionals travelling from Europe, December brings machinery suppliers, materials firms and other plastics businesses into one exhibition setting in Istanbul. Fresh commercial contacts are the purpose of the international visitor programme, which is equally structured to help companies deepen the trading ties they already hold.
Production technology sits alongside machinery and materials
Two pillars of the show will be plastic production machinery together with raw materials and chemicals. Next-generation manufacturing technologies and machinery solutions feature as well, and themes such as efficiency, innovation and value-added production shape the commercial agenda.
Such a product scope allows technical specialists and buyers to assess equipment, materials and production methods within a single trip, as exhibitors put new products, technologies and sector solutions in front of an international audience.
Three and a half decades of change mapped for the anniversary
Among the 35th-anniversary activities sits a Milestones Map, a chronological display charting turning points in the fair’s past alongside developments across the plastics industry. An exhibition of historic plastics production machinery will additionally reveal how manufacturing technologies have evolved.
Plaques honouring long-standing involvement will be presented at the opening ceremony to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, three firms that have exhibited throughout the 35-year journey of the event.
Through The Stage is Yours!, exhibitors can take 30-minute presentation slots in which value-added products, technologies, success stories and industry solutions are shared with visitors.
Guided access awaits hosted buyers
International purchasing delegations will find their way around relevant product groups and exhibitors more efficiently thanks to the Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme. Buyers taking part are offered guided routes, visits to demo and event areas, entry to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services.
As Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, Turkish Airlines will discount eligible international return flights into Istanbul for journeys made from 25 November to 12 December 2026: Economy Class fares drop by 10% and Business Class fares by 15%.
